Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Charlotte Pipe plumbing solutions and orders.
What is the difference between PVC and ABS piping systems?
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is typically white and used for a variety of drainage and pressure applications, while ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is black, BPA-free, and primarily used for non-pressure drainage, waste, and vent systems.
How do I ensure I am ordering the correct pipe size for my project?
Plumbing pipe is measured by its Nominal Pipe Size (NPS), which refers to the inside diameter. We recommend checking our sizing chart or consulting a licensed plumber to ensure compatibility with your existing fittings.
What are your shipping rates for oversized pipe lengths?
Standard shipping applies to fittings and small pipe sections. For full-length pipes (10-20 feet), we utilize LTL freight carriers. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight and destination of the order.
What is your return policy for unused plumbing supplies?
We accept returns on unused, uninstalled products in their original condition within 30 days of delivery. Please note that custom-cut pipe sections are final sale and cannot be returned.
Are Charlotte Pipe products compliant with national plumbing codes?
Yes, all our products are manufactured in the USA and meet or exceed all applicable ASTM and NSF international standards to ensure compliance with local and national building codes.
Can I track my order once it has been dispatched?
